fashion faux pas or not?

girls we all know that we all love our leggings..oh yes we love them.they are cool and comfortable(till the weather gets hot). they can be worn with almost anything like short dresses, long tops, short skirts and shorts. it seems some girls are taking the leggings craze to a new level.

in my college, the leggings craze started this fall.there is no day you would walk around the campus and not see at least 10 girls in leggings. they wear it with everything and sometimes it looks good but sometimes it doesn't.leggings are worn to cover the legs if you wearing something that's too short or you feel is showing too much skin(on the leg). well some people do not seem to realize that. one trend that is very common in my college is wearing a long office blouse with leggings.it's the *ish* now.it's very weird because it's like wearing a top with no bottoms. the leggings don't always cover your skin girls so please......they can never replace your bottoms. there are some leggings that are like the pantyhose that is they cover your feet.please girls wear covered shoes when you wear these types. i see girls in my school wear these leggings with open-toed sandals and its just crazy.

then there's the jeans that is as tight and fitting as the leggings and long. girls when buying your jeans buy the ones that are your correct size...length and all. nowadays i see girls wearing jeans that are longer than their legs so they put it under their feet, tuck into their shoes and sandals. all this is not necessary so please but the correct size of jeans.

all in all ladies...don't forget to wear your bottoms in the right size and length........and no leggings with open-toed shoes.

TWILIGHT(it's not what you think trust me)

i am sure you are thinking this is the usual OMG! rob p is sooo hot or i lovvve twilight and all but you're wrong..very wrong.i am not a hater in fact i love the book.....BOOK..not the movie.if you have ever read a book before you watch the movie, you'll understand my pain at the twilight movie. i heard about the twilight book from a friend when i was in high school. we were in our final year and had just finished our exams so we had nothing to do. at that time everyone was just reading novels and swapping books. if you know me, you'll know how much i love books.i always play the movie in my head as am reading. well the twilight book never got to me in school so i gave up.i came across the book at a friend's house and read it and boy..i was glad i did,it was very very good. i loved it. well this friend of mine also watched the movie and came back thoroughly dis appointed and in tears(ok am exaggerating here).anyway i still wanted to watch the movie to satisfy my curiosity and of course i was hugely disappointed. let me start with the characters.Edward Edward..he disappointed me the most considering that he is the main character.he was supposed to be hot,fine,sexy and all but what do i get..a guy with scattered hair that looks scary(at least we can see he's a vampire).Bella i disliked at first but then i came to understand her. she looks like she is on drugs and has a mental problem but now i understand her.she has been through a lot in her life so ok she can be pardoned.Rosalie i can not forgive.she's supposed to be really hot and look like a goddess so what do i get a very normal looking girl/woman.jasper is on a different level.his eyes are always wide open like if he blinks,the world would disappear. he looks like he is in pain and that i can understand as he can't control his thirst for human blood.(ok i just saw a picture of the guy that's jasper and he's really cute..wow).Alice and Esme were just fine.now my favourite characters:carlisle, Jake and Emmett.Emmett in the book and movie are exactly the same;big, playful and fun.carlisle is hot and calm.and best of all is Jacob. i won't lie and say i don't like him because his hot but because....but i do.well in twilight,he's as dorky and awkward as his character but i can see that he's going to be really hot. the wolf pack included a guy that looked really old like 50 years old.why???oh yeah i also think James is hot.

another thing that keeps annoying me in the movie is how they remove relevant details and put totally irrelevant things.for example, Bella met Edward in her first bios class.then he misses class for the rest of the week.next class he says hi and she questions his absence like they are best of friends and he owes her an explanation. in the book she figured he was a vampire from the story Jake told her.in the movie she found it online as Jake didn't finish his explanation to her at the beach. there are so many others i can't seem to remember now but anyway twilight is over.new moon is now.

i really can not wait for new moon.i don't care if its crap as long as i get to see less of robert pattz though i like edward and more of Jake/taylor.TEAM JACOB!!!anytime.i just saw a picture of the wolves in new moon and they are hot.seriously.

my friend

am going to tell you about my friend because i find her very interesting. she's tall,dark and pretty. she has the most nicknames I have ever heard a person have:triple V(violent.....she beats d crap out of her friends myself included,vain...my she takes hours to do her makeup(which she would never accept), vulgar..ok she's not so vulgar but she is :).she's just really interesting. she's also an irony..she always complains that she's lonely and wants a boyfriend and then when one comes along she rejects him and doesn't care. i kind of understand her there though because i also feel lonely but am not exactly looking for a boyfriend ;) am looking for a best friend that's a guy.lol.oh and one thing she's really good at is ticking me off. gosh she is soooooo annoying aaaarrrggggghhhh!!!!!i feel like screaming some more when i remember how she annoys me but the thing is i still love her.the ONE greatest thing that annoys me about her is that she is as thin and as straight as a pencil(i know i know...that's harsh and all but am just being honest) and she still thinks she's fat.imagine that!she takes cereal in the morning and that's all she will eat for the day.all my roomies are telling her to eat more especially me and she thinks we are disturbing her.she uses the old...i was fat before and i don't want to go back there..phrase.why can't she open her eyes and see. she thinks she's as slim as me but the thing is am bigger than her. she wore my shorts to prove it. my shorts are fitting on me and are like a sac* on her. i have a friend that's really skinny and she's trying to add weight.she doesn't look so skinny anyway..but this my psychologically fat friend's jeans entered her with perfect fitting yet she still wants to lose wait.sometimes i just want to slap her and say wake up and open your eyes.gosh.
whew!!this feels really good to vent out my feelings freely.oh yes something i forgot is that she sleeps a lot..a lot.oh no i don't think you understand me a whole lot. she sets alarms that are so annoying and unpleasant to the ear and it wakes the whole dorm(ok am exaggerating) the whole room except her. why????i really do not know.

a gurl can dream

i had an african civilization class which is very boring...don't get me wrong. the course itself is interesting but the teacher's accent can send you to sleep. so instead of sleeping, i resort to my favourite pasttime...daydreaming.this is something i know a lot of us do especially during classes...though it isnt right.who cares..as long as i am not asleep the teacher wouldn't mind..would he?anyway here's what i came up with....
i go for a summer in America(can't think of a particular state) and i somehow get a ticket to an MTV awards show. yipee!!. i get a beautiful little red versace dress with a nice pair of black jimmy choo pumps, brunette extensions in my hair (that's the nearest colour to my hair) and an okay makeup(really don't care which it is).then am off to the awards show. as i walk into the arena i see TI(OMG!!) on the red carpet takin pictures and he spots me as well and can't stop staring at me. the paps follow his line of sight and see me. they start taking pictures of me. then they ask TI if he knows me and he says,'i don't butt she's absolutely gorgeous'(in my dreams ryt??).anyway, after he's done there, he comes over to talk to me............okay girl its time to wake up....the class is finally over.*sigh* how i wish!!

the Beginning

Ok. this is my first attempt at writing a blog and i dont think i know how it works so am just going to write how i feel right now.....i'm kind of finding it difficult to type this without any shorthand..whew! that was hard.so well well the world through my eyes can sometimes be really exciting and fun and sometimes it can be sad and boring. for now am hanging in the balance.

i recently started thinking seriously about starting a blog when i saw 2 of my friends blogs and loved it. so now am going to write about anything and everything..yaaay!!!!!now i have a place to express myself freely. can't wait to write something really exciting.
