April's fools day

well I do not know the history of this day but i have to say I love that day as long as the joke is not on me. in high school, our principal pranked us and he got us all real good. we had to hand it to him because it was perfect. i mean people were pissed and some sorrowful. am in college now so when April fool rolled around this year, i was hoping for a really good prank......on someone of course. so my friends and i were just chatting when it became 12am on April 1st. we decided we wanted to prank people. our first attempt was our friend M. she was afraid of being alone in a room and at that time she was asleep alone in the room. one of my friends painted her face white and smeared some red lipstick on her lips. she also covered herself with a cloth. she looked scary. we all filed into the room. R woke M up screaming that she was seeing someone in the room and the person wasn't moving. M was too sleepy to understand. despite R's screaming, M didn't get scared because she didn't understand what was happening. when she finally did, she knew it was us. Bad joke! we tried to prank E the same way so we just walked into her room and well....she didn't scream but she was a little spooked. we entered another friend's room and one of the girls screamed. it was all very disappointing to us because we hadn't gotten the kind of response we were looking for.

THEN came the master plan. our friend Y had a boyfriend B so we decided to call him and tell him that was throwing up and having stomach pains. we wanted him to panic and come to her room. so we called him,sounding very urgent and a little hysterical, telling him that his girlfriend was ill and needed him. at first he laughed because well it was April fool's day. we kept calling and sounding urgent with Y retching in the background. eventually he took us seriously and came to Y's dorm. As for Y she is a brilliant actress. we decided that when he came outside the dorm, we would shout 'April fool' together but Y decided to stretch the joke a little. she fell on the floor and was crying,'my tummy.my tummy'. people around started asking what the problem was. we told them she needed to go the clinic.some of them knew it was a joke, others didn't. there was a car packed there so we looked for the owner and asked him to take Y and B to the clinic. we thought Y would end there but oh no she didn't. she allowed the driver take her to the clinic. on the way, the rest of us called B and screamed ' April fool's'. we got him good. the person we got really really good was the driver/owner of the car. till today, he doesn't know that it was all a joke. poor guy.probably thought he was helping out. well we just couldn't tell him because he would have been really pissed and we had never spoken to him before that day.

I'm just happy that despite all the failed attempts, we finally got someone!!!

I'm sure it seems like am a Rihanna fan but I'm not. her songs always seem to catch me....and Lady Gaga's too. I know they have deeper meanings and stuff but me all i do is enjoy the tunes and not think about the words. i love Beyonce's songs and her dance moves of course...who doesn't?

Honesty

.....is the best policy. i know we all know this saying and its becoming cliché but it is still the truth. i know the truth hurts but it definitely sets you free.you do not have to carry the burden around for long.you let go of it and accept the consequences of your action. so here's my story

OK so one night *Reyes decided to go out and have fun. the problem is she was kind of upset deep down inside. even though she tried to hide it, we all knew the truth. *Fa-chic went with her because she also wanted to have fun..i think. well she came back at 2am with the most hilarious story i have ever heard. well the story is not the point of my post but I'll just tell you this; it was freaking crazy!!! really crazy!!! am sure now you want to know the whole story but anyway....Reyes said some things she shouldn't have and am kinda glad she said it. it will help her in the long run. Fa-chic,MissP,PP and myself decided we had to something about Reyes crazy situation. we called Reyes's 'best friend',S and spoke to him about the situation. i agree we might have told him some embarrassing details but in the end we all just wanted to help. there was a particular line that was said by Fa-chic which made me flinch because i knew that if it were me, i wouldn't want S to know. i couldn't object because sadly it was the truth although it was highly embarrassing. well 4 days later, Reyes decided to ask what we told S. we had decided not to tell her anything so i said,'i don't remember' which was a lie. it hurt to lie but i couldn't remember everything of course except the most embarrassing details. she then proceeds to ask a particular question regarding what Fa-chic said that made me flinch the other day. i was silent and my silence was taken as a yes. she wanted to know who gave her away and i told her. being Reyes she decided to go and hate on Fa-chic who then proceeded to say that it was all of us(Fa-chic, MissP,PP and I) that said it. now here is where my problem arises. how do people say things together? is it that we chorused the statement? or we said it one after the other? am confused here..can someone help me out?

my second problem is Reyes is my friend..at least i think she is...even she's not she knows me. so why the heck would i lie about who made the embarrassing statement? what? am sacred that she'll beat me or kill me? she can't. all she can do is confront me and maybe never speak to me for some days. so why should that scare me into lying? another thing is i always...OK at least i try very hard to say things as they are. she should know me better. if it were me that said it, i would have told her it was me. funny part is MissP and PP agreed with Fa-chic that we said it together..wow!! i get we are friends and we have to stick together but what would it have taken for you to admit the truth and THEN stand by Fa-chic through whatever Reyes would say? i guess that was a lot harder...gotta take the easy way out you know.

This bugged me throughout my class period so i decided to tell them. I tried to redeem myself and everyone ignored me.....CLASSIC!

I guess I got a new post out of them.

Crazy a** people

Yea I know the title kind of takes you by surprise but don't worry I'll explain.

A lot has been happening this past couple of days in my school. I'll start with the first group of crazy people; a few girls whose room is a few doors away. they put the 'row' in borrow. gosh! they ask for everything from cosmetics to clothes to toiletries to food. you name it. they even come to use our bathroom when they have theirs. even when you tell them no, they get angry and go only to come back another day. what kind of people are these? when we are fast asleep in my room with the door locked, they come knocking as if its their room. it's so freaking irritating and they won't stop no matter how much you tell them to. arrrggghhh!!! one of them came and borrowed 3 of our buckets and returned two. when we asked her why she said one of them was broken. girl get some sense! you are supposed to come to us and tell us that with apologies and not wait for us to come and ask you. oh did i mention that we always have to ask them to return our stuff before they do. because of their constant asking we even 'dash' them some things, yet they still come back for more. get a life will you! i can't keep talking about them if not i might implode!

the second crazy set of people are my school authorities. yes! i said that. imagine the fools, they increased our fees by 35% because the school is running in debt. ehm, who's fault is it? theirs. they employed a contractor to build our library and paid him in full and of course the man took off with all the money. an 'American' institution that doesn't keep records. where in the world does that happen? then a staff in the school has been siphoning money from the school without their knowledge. how would they know when they don't keep records. so now they are broke and they think we are the ones to finance their debt??? WE NO FIT!! well we decided to show them that we can't pay for their stupidity so we have been on a peaceful protest. now they know we are serious.let's see what will come out of it.

Disappointment

i am highly highly disappointed in someone i thought was my friend. i have known her, or at least thought i did for four years. i have been defending her against all rumours not knowing that i have been making a complete fool of myself.i feel so hurt. how can you be friends with some one for so long and the person will look you in the eye and lie about something trivial, maybe not so trivial. why would i carry rumours or rather truths....that i do not even know...to tell people outside? confusing i know.something i do not know about i'm the one spreading the rumour. i can't even express how i feel so am just going to give you a piece of advice; if there's anyone you knew in high school, be rest assured that the person will not be the same in college.i learnt the hard way.

how cam my so-called friend hear that people have been talking about her behind her back and assume its me? why the heck will it be me.

people are definitely not who they seem...don't be deceived especially by their looks.
